Pilates

Pilates

Pilates is a complete and effective whole body exercise. Irrespective of age and physical ability, pilates will help improve bodily awareness, strength, mobility, posture, stamina, coordination and breathing.

The entire body is strengthened and brought into balance. Body and mind are equally challenged and wellbeing increased.

A pilates class consists of strengthening exercises, stretching and conscious breathing. The core and pelvic floor muscle groups are specifically targeted and strengthened.

Pilates HIIT

Pilates HIIT is a varied method of fitness training. HIIT stands for high-intensity interval training in which various exercises are completed one after the other. The aim of these exercises is to improve strength, stamina, coordination and flexibility. The individual exercises will use your own bodyweight or simple equipment eg Dumbells or therabands (resistance bands). In Pilates HIIT the exercise and recovery phases are optimally coordinated in order to achieve a balanced training effect and effective muscle development.

Prenatal Pilates

Personal well-being is at the centre of prenatal pilates. Through gentle exercises the body will become stronger and circulation will be improved. Back pain can be completely avoided or significantly reduced through coordinated training. Your posture will be improved and become optimal.

Breathing and relaxation exercises help to achieve inner calm and balance.

Postnatal Pilates

Postnatal pilates gives you the opportunity to deepen practice from prenatal exercises and Pilates and to also learn further new exercises. This practice strikes a good balance between overall strengthening, conscious breathing and improved body awareness. During the course, the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles are strengthened with specifically targeted exercises. You will shape and strengthen your body more intensively and more consciously. This training aims to give your body a new feel.

Starting 6 to 8 weeks after a vaginal birth and 10 to 12 weeks after a caesarian section.
